If you attempt to get group insurance for let’s say a Sept. 1st effective date on Aug. 25 and are lucky to be approved for Sept 1st on Aug. 31st…don’t start asking where your cards are on Sept. 2nd. Be patient, there are a lot of other people enrolling as well. There will be a line and these things take time to process. The secret is out and now you know.

Whether you have a small health issue, a major health issue, a big doctor bill or a tiny one…Having a good health insurance plan can bail you out. I do not wish to share another’s personal story, but I can tell you this. Lately, I have seen or talked to a lot of people who have been visiting the doctor and with the right benefits they are saving THOUSANDS of dollars. That’s right thousands! In fact, with the right insurances you could save tens of thousands if God forbid something terrible happens. People ask, where is the value in health insurance? I guess my answer is…saving thousands or even more. Still, people…even people at “that age” decline to get coverage because the monthly premium (in their opinion) is to high or they don’t see the value that I speak of. I truly wish them luck.
